Watching Naruto
and did a few quick sketches. For those of you who’ve seen the anime,
there’s a certain artist whose work is very distinct (think Hokage
melee or Sasuke vs. Orochimaru – first encounter). I’ve been a fan ever
since I can remember, primarily for the way he exaggerates his
character poses and facial expressions. Coupled with the oblique camera
shots, this makes for some good gestural drawing source material.
