I went for a photo walk in the park with a couple friends at night. It started to snow when I spotted a black wolf in the distance. I took a few pictures with a telephoto lens as it ran toward me. It caught my arm and was poised to bite my neck when I yelled to one of my friends for help. We shooed it off and it ran back and forth waiting for an opening to make another attack.
That’s when my DSLR came in handy as both a camera and a weapon, fending it off and taking pictures at the same time. I shot a high speed series that jelled into some amazing transparency action sequence with brilliant colors. At that point, the wolf started jumping up and down like it was doing the Snoopy dance. Then, I woke up. I wish I still had those shots.
